Irssi 0.8.17-rc1 Released

Irssi 0.8.17-rc1 has been released. The changes includes bug fixes, documentation cleanup, 256 colour support, truecolour support and various other enhancements. Check out the NEWS file for all changes and please report bugs back to us.

The release can be downloaded from our releases page.

This is the first release candidate of Irssi after we moved to Github which means your feedback is much valued. Bugs can be reported via our issue tracker.
